A batch of SCANIA tippers with Grunwald superstructures

In May 2020, the first batch of SCANIA XT series tippers with a box-type tipper superstructures from Grunwald arrived at SCANIA dealerships. This is a new stage in the development of cooperation between Grunwald and Scania CV AB.

The starting point was a pilot tipper vehicle on a SCANIA chassis, equipped with a Grunwald superstructure and presented in the fall of 2019. To be included in the SCANIA range, every component of the vehicle, including the body superstructure, must pass serious tests. The Grunwald product proved its high reliability and durability in a pilot tipper with its trouble-free operation.

The mass-produced limited edition includes Scania P440 P8x4HZ tippers with a P-series daytime cab for the construction industry, capable of operating at all stages of construction. The vehicles are equipped with 20 cubic meters Grunwald body superstructures made of wear-resistant and impact-resistant Hardox 450 steel. All superstructures are certified under the «Hardox In My Body ™» program of the Swedish SSAB steel concern. The side walls of the body have a thickness of 5 mm, the base of the body - 8 mm. The superstructures are equipped with a shut-off exhaust gas heating system, and individual elements of the system are made of stainless steel.

The Scania P440 P8x4HZ tipper with the Grunwald superstructure is a reliable assistant in maintaining business profitability. It is ideally adapted for a carrier that acts as a contractor in large construction projects, with the need to work in harsh conditions and a testing environment.
