Holistic approach and ever-growing expertise allows Grunwald to attract new clients in foreign markets. Grunwald representative in Sweden confirms the commitment to continue joint work in developing and supplying customers in the region with semitrailers tailored to their needs.

For Swedish intermodal carriers, two factors are of paramount importance: reducing operational costs and ensuring transport reliability. These two elements are most crucial when choosing a commercial vehicle.

With a clear vision of customers’ needs in mind, engineers at Grunwald had conceptualized and designed a new promising container chassis model – the Gr.C-S3-SWEDEN. Its key features are technological effectiveness and functionality.

Permissible total weight of the semitrailer amounts up to 43 tons, its fifth wheel load comes to 16 tons, and the curb weight below 5 tons. The container chassis is equipped with a set of JOST twist locks and is designed to carry 1х20 Ft, 2х20 Ft, 1х30 Ft and 1х40 Ft containers. The frame is welded from a high tensile steel to withstand great workloads. Reinforced axle comes complete with disc brakes. The distance between the first and the second axles was increased to comply with conventional regional standards. Implemented in the vehicle are well tried and tested solutions that were proven to ensure stable operation under challenging conditions.

The first batch of 6 semi-trailers was produced and delivered to the representative's site. The semi-trailers were initially intended for intermodal carriers from central Sweden, but will operate throughout the country. Grunwald representative in Sweden appraised the effective implementation of the resulting project and placed an order for a new batch of container chassis.
