The year 2021 was rather ambivalent and contradictory, but with it came the first signs that a global economy is about to restart. Various global issues have set transport manufacturers with non-trivial challenges to adapt their internal processes, as industry had to deal with components shortage and interruptions in supply chains. Nevertheless, the recovery of growth in the global economy has led to a recovery in demand for commercial vehicles.
Grunwald responded to new challenges successfully and proved that the company can effectively sustain and develop production even in challenging circumstances. Our strategy led us to significant annual results.
Our carefully developed operational policy proved to be infallible, making the past year one of the most successful for the company. Grunwald showed strong sales growth of 50.6%.
Sales growth, among other things, can be attributed to a well-balanced model line-up, great focus on customers, trade-in and leasing programs. For the first time, the company came in second place among Russian semi-trailer manufacturers. The growth rate of the company's developement has significantly outpaced the growth of the market.
The Grunwald brand is the absolute number one in the tipper semi-trailer segment with a market share of 34%, which is twice as high as the closest competitors. In container semi-trailer segment, the Grunwald brand holds second place with a 49% annual increase in sales volumes.
