Installation of superstructures at the VOLVO plant in Kaluga

At Grunwald, it has become a good tradition to end the year on a major note – a big and significant event. The end of the current year was marked by the installation of the first Grunwald tipper superstructures on the Volvo FMX 8x4 chassis at the Volvo Trucks production facility in Kaluga. Today it is the most modern factory among all the plants in the Volvo Trucks production system in the world.

Successful completion of installation operations, in fact, means reaching a completely new level of cooperation with the leading European OEM. At the plant in Kaluga, Grunwald tipper superstructures are delivered in a new version with an improved body heating system. The superstructures are manufactured using the most modern and innovative materials and are certified under the "Hardox In My Body" program.

The goal of the next year will be to strengthen cooperation and expand the supply of Grunwald body solutions directly to the assembly line of tipper trucks.
