Description
Versatile container chassis Gr.C-L3 provides for efficient work with the most common container types: 1x20’, 2x20’, 1x30’, 1x40’ и 1x40’ HC. The current generation of the model features an updated frame design. The newly implemented solutions provide for high resistance to shock and dynamic loads and help to bring down the risk of metal fatigue stress. The design and manufacturing process is streamlined to ensure the semi-trailer remains a highly efficient and reliable asset of your fleet for years to come.
Design strengths
The model boasts several crucial technical advantages: a new welded frame made of high-tensile steel, carefully selected vehicle components, and a removable work platform in standard configuration. By adhering to the most advanced design approaches, Grunwald engineers ensured the high reliability and low unladen weight of the semi-trailer and included a thought-out set of necessary useful features. Transportation companies praise the resulting product – a premium build quality 3-axle container chassis at a competitive cost.
Braking system and electrical equipment
Disk-type braking mechanism is the most fitting option for intermodal and long haul transportation. The braking system is supplied by WABCO and comes complete with their Premium EBS modulator. Basic equipment of the semitrailer includes the Wabco Optilink monitoring system which allows control of the operating parameters and current axial load with the use of a smart phone. Brand new Ermax TM11 lighting fixtures with LED lamps and light cases made of shockproof polycarbonate.
Surface coating
The paintwork materials used for surface coating as well as the techniques used to apply them conform to relevant ISO requirements for severe climatic conditions. Prior to being painted, the structural elements of the semitrailer-to-be are thoroughly shot blasted. All paintwork operations are based on the latest techniques using Glasurit paints and varnishes made available by BASF.
Axle system and suspension
The semi-trailers are equipped with integral suspension axles. The axles are reinforced and are fitted for operating in challenging road conditions.
At the request of the customer, the semitrailer delivery package may be upgraded to include the following additional options:

Certification
Grunwald’s semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification rules published by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Warranty
The warranty period for the semitrailer structure shall be the lesser of 12 months from the time of initial registration or 24 months from the time of manufacture, as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.
Applicable warranty and
servicing obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service
center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo) or by any service station which is
a member of Grunwald’s authorized service network.
