Description
The Gr.CS curtainsider semi-trailer allows you to deal with the stringent requirements set for cargo delivery and ensure its integrity.
In any transport task, whether it is a haul between distribution centres, work on a distribution network or cargo delivery to the end consumer – the Gr.CS model shows its best. The advantages of the model is the improved superstructure design, high performance characteristics and bolster system installed in the basic configuration. Gr.CS curtainsider semi-trailer is a solid foundation for your transportation business.
The Gr.CS model built is a main frame with low side members and an increased number of cross beams. The structure has successfully proven itself in operation on roads of various categories and quality of road pavement.
Basic equipment of the semitrailer includes reliable cargo fastening elements. There are 20 holes in the flooring designed for installation of metal bolsters – the system of fixed cargo distribution. During transportation, the bolsters are fixed in a special cassette secured on the frame spar. Standard height of the bolsters is 1.8 m which can be increased to 2 m. Embedded eyes with load of 2,000 kg per each one are additionally installed along the flooring perimeter.
The semitrailer is equipped with the Wabco Optilink monitoring service, mechanism of the front lift axle, tool box, basket for a spare wheel capable of accommodating two wheels. One spare wheel is included in the basic configuration. The paintwork materials used for surface coating as well as the techniques used to apply them conform to relevant ISO requirements for severe climatic conditions.
Braking system and electrical equipment
The braking system is based on disk-type braking mechanisms and is equipped with the ABS/EBS modulator. The lighting equipment installed on the semitrailer is Ermax TM11 diode optics - the most advanced lighting equipment on the market, which is made from high impact polycarbonate, and is also dust- and water-proof – an important feature for extensive driving on highways. When a turn is performed, the turn signal light is duplicated by the side lights of the semi-trailer, which helps establish a safer driving environment for all road users.
Axle system and suspension
The Gr.CS model is fitted with a reinforced SAF INTRADISK Custom Design axle system, perfect for Russian road and long hauling routes. The axle design includes special perforation for improved air flow and enhanced cooling of brake discs and pads. This feature is intended to prevent overheating and premature wear. The front lift axle mechanism is available in the basic configuration.
Curtain-sided superstructure
The front portal and the removable stanchions are made of KTL-coated steel. The rear gates are made of aluminum, they are light and easy to use. The sliding cover is fitted with rollers that are made to withstand the Russian climate. The semitrailer is also equipped with a metal roller hook, secured on the rear gate door.
At the request of the customer, the semitrailer delivery package may be upgraded to include the following additional options:

Certification
Grunwald’s semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification rules published by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Warranty
The warranty period for the semitrailer structure shall be the lesser of 12 months from the time of initial registration or 24 months from the time of manufacture, as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.
Applicable warranty andservicing obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service
center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo) or by any service station which is
a member of Grunwald’s authorized service network.
