Description

The Gr.T31-SH dump semi-trailer concept is based on the idea of maximum efficiency in a sector with traditionally strict requirements – the construction transportation industry. Work in quarries, on long delivery routes, on narrow city streets and at construction sites – the conditions can be very different.

Regardless of the conditions, the Gr.T31-SH model confirms the high performance qualities required for construction equipment. In terms of efficiency and reliability, they are unrivaled, because they are the result of the joint work of experienced specialists in transport engineering and commercial transportation.

Design strengths

The steel tipper bodies constructed in Half-Pipe design outperform their counterparts in terms of a number of key parameters. They boast a lower curb weight. The semicircular cross-section speeds up the unloading of aggregate materials. The number of welds it takes to construct a Half-Pipe body is drastically lower than that required to put together a box-type tipper.

The semitrailer frame is super-reliable and properly adapted to conditions actually to be encountered in Russia. The side-members are OVAKO’s grade 420 steel, their flanges being designed as solid rolled flats. The frame side-members are welded on both sides during assembly.

Standard order configuration

Grunwald’s engineers have generously configured the standard delivery package for model Gr.T31-SH. The following options included in the basic order configuration are there to enhance the operator’s workplace performance and comfort:

WABCO’s Intelligent Trailer system complete with an app available for iOS and Android smartphones and enabling the users to monitor and adjust the semitrailer’s safety and performance functions;
An underride protection bar for streamlined interactions with all types of asphalt pavers. An additional feature that can be installed is the Paver Brake function;
A spare wheel complete with a mounting bracket and a winch. An additional mounting bracket to accommodate an extra spare wheel;
Wheel nut caps designed to lock the nut in the tightened position so it would not come loose;
A plastic toolbox and a hand wash stand complete with a separate soap dispenser;
A pike pole for handling the vehicle cover;
Premium tires with improved load carrying performance – up to 10 tonnes per axle.

At the request of the customer, the semitrailer delivery package may be upgraded to include the following additional options:

Hitch height increased to 1,350 or to 1,485 mm;
A BPW ALO Heavy Duty axle system with a carrying capacity of 12 tonnes per axle;
A SAF MODUL axle system with a carrying capacity of 12 tonnes per axle;

Certification

Grunwald’s semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification rules published by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Warranty

The warranty period for the semitrailer structure shall be the lesser of 12 months from the time of initial registration or 24 months from the time of manufacture, as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.

Applicable warranty and
servicing obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service
center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo) or by any service station which is
a member of Grunwald’s authorized service network.
