Tipper semi-trailer Gr.T34-SH

The concept of the Gr.T34-SH tipper semitrailer combines a spacious steel body with a strong, heavy-duty frame to expand as much as possible the transportation capabilities available to operators. 

Model Gr.T34-SH is suitable for transporting construction materials such as various sand and gravel fractions, soil, or asphalt, while remaining capable of handling cargoes such as scrap metal, coal, agribusiness goods, or household waste.

Design strengths

The steel tipper body is a Half-Pipe construction with a capacity of 34 cbm. Compared to box-type bodies, it boasts a lower curb weight and is more resistant to deformation. The semicircular cross-section speeds up the unloading of aggregate materials.

The heavy-duty semitrailer frame has been tested in some of the most challenging road conditions, only to prove itself reliable over and over again. The side-members are OVAKO’s grade 420 steel, their flanges being designed as solid rolled flats. Two kingpin positions are available.

Standard order configuration

The no-frills package for model Gr.T34-SH-SI (and for the rest of Grunwald’s tipper semitrailers) includes a wide range of options that have you covered for everything you need to work productively. The standard equipment package includes:

• WABCO’s Intelligent Trailer system complete with an app available for iOS and Android smartphones and enabling the users to monitor and adjust the semitrailer’s safety and performance functions;

• An underride protection bar for streamlined interactions with all types of asphalt pavers. An additional feature that can be installed is the Paver Brake function;

• A spare wheel complete with a mounting bracket and a winch. An additional mounting bracket to accommodate an extra spare wheel;

• Wheel nut caps designed to lock the nut in the tightened position so it would not come loose;
  

• A plastic toolbox and a hand wash stand complete with a separate soap dispenser;

• A pike pole for handling the vehicle cover;
  

• Premium tires that demonstrate high strength under maximum loads.

At the request of the customer, the semitrailer delivery package may be upgraded to include the following additional options:

• Hitch height increased to 1,350 mm;

• A BPW ALO Heavy Duty axle system with a carrying capacity of 12 tonnes per axle;

• A SAF MODUL axle system with a carrying capacity of 11 tonnes per axle;

• A 3.5" kingpin
  

• Cramaro’s automated Cover-Truck tarpaulin system;

• Disk-type braking mechanisms;
  

• A custom color solution
  

• Custom vinyl graphics.

Certification

Grunwald’s semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification rules published by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Warranty

The warranty period for the semitrailer structure shall be the lesser of 12 months from the time of initial registration or 24 months from the time of manufacture, as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.

Applicable warranty and
servicing obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service
center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo) or by any service station which is
a member of Grunwald’s authorized service network.
