Description

The Gr.T50-SH semi-trailer is designed to haul a wide range of bulk cargoes that can be unloaded by means of tipping.

The Gr.T50-SH semi-trailer ensures excellent efficiency in work cycle, where productivity is the main priority at every stage. The list of materials this model is capable of hauling includes various coal fractions, scrap metal, various waste from woodworking and other industries intended for processing. The semi-trailer is capable of transporting dense aggregates, albeit in smaller volumes.

With the Gr.T50-SH model in the fleet, large-scale projects can be implemented better, faster and more efficiently. Each trip this semitrailer makes brings the important tasks significantly closer to their completion.

Design advantages

The key advantage of the Gr.T50-SH model, yielding great opportunities for operators, is the pairing of a robust, large-volume body with a stable chassis. The semi-trailer frame design is based on many years of experience in creating tipper trucks and is adapted for use on roads of varying quality. The tipper body is made out of steel using the "Half-Pipe" technology, its sidewalls are 6 mm thick and its body base is 8 mm thick. The body sidewalls are additionally reinforced with a longitudinal stiffener. The Gr.T50-SH model is designed for use with semitrailer trucks with a hitch height of 1350 mm.

Standard configuration

The basic configuration of Gr.T50-SH tipper semitrailer possesses an extensive range of features:

  • "Intelligent Trailer" – a comprehensive system supplied by Wabco that includes an app for iOS and Android smartphones for monitoring and adjusting the semitrailer safety and performance features;

  • Lifting underride protection bar for compatible operations with all types of asphalt pavers. An asphalt paver brake feature may be installed additionally;

  • Spare wheel complete with a mounting bracket and a winch. Additional bracket for a second spare wheel;

  • Wheel nut caps to secure torque and prevent its loosening;

  • Plastic tool box and washbasin with a separate soap dispenser;

  • Premium tires boasting an excellent damage resistance and improved load distribution in the contact patch.

Axial unit ans suspension

The axial unit consists of three dual-tire BPW axles in a reinforced Heavy Duty design with a load capacity of 12,000 kg per axle. The axles are single-tire. The suspension is air-type. The front axle is equipped with a lifting mechanism

Paint and varnish coating

The paint coating technological process, as well as the quality of materials used, complies with relevant ISO requirements for severe climatic conditions. In preparation for the painting procedure, all structural elements are thoroughly shot blasted.  The paintwork involves the use of modern European-made paint and varnish materials

Brake system and electrical equipment

The standard configuration of the semitrailer is equipped with drum-type brakes. This type of brakes is best suited to the peculiarities of tipper transportation industry. Disc-type brakes are available as an option.
The braking system is supplied by WABCO and comes complete with Premium EBS modulator.  New generation Ermax TM11 lighting equipment with LED lights and "Superseal" dust- and water-proof plug connections that help to ensure safe operation at any work site – whether it is a construction site, quarry or highway.  The lighting package is augmented by two additional LED working lights.

At the request of the customer, the semitrailer configuration may include additional options:

  • BPW SLO Heavy Duty axle unit supporting load capacity of 14 tons per axle;

  • BPW SLO Heavy Duty axle unit supporting load capacity of 16 tons per axle;

  • Disc-type brakes;

  • 3.5" kingpin;

  • Cramaro automatic rolling tarpaulin system;

  • Custom color scheme;

  • Custom vinyl decorations.

Certification

Grunwald’s semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification rules published by the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Warranty

The warranty period for the semitrailer structure shall be the lesser of 12 months from the time of initial registration or 24 months from the time of manufacture, as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.

Applicable warranty and servicing obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo) or by any service station which is a member of Grunwald’s authorized service network.
