Description

The Gr.T38-SH tipper semi-trailer is designed for transporting dense inert cargo for construction purposes. Its large-volume body and reinforced chassis were built for transporting large bulks of material in short time under challenging conditions.

This semi-trailer may be operated in large infrastructure construction projects, enclosed areas of industrial enterprises, technological facilities, etc. Reinforced structural elements, high load index tires, extensive basic configuration equipped with many useful options - the semi-trailer has everything necessary to ensure dependable operation while working in the harshest conditions.

Design advantages

The Gr.T38-SH model represents the range of heavy duty Grunwald tipper semitrailers. Reliable chassis and a large-volume durable body are at the core of this model’s design. The reinforced semitrailer frame has an outstanding margin of safety, allowing you to operate safely and confidently even when the body is fully loaded. The flanges of side members are made of one-piece hot-rolled strip and are welded on both sides during assembly to guarantee great structural strength. The dual-tire axles are a significant advantage that provides for greater load capacity. The heavy-duty semitrailers are designed for use with semitrailer trucks with a hitch height of 1350 mm.

Standard configuration

The basic configuration of Gr.T38-SH tipper semitrailer possesses an extensive range of features:

The "Intelligent Trailer" comprehensive system supplied by Wabco that includes an app for iOS and Android smartphones for monitoring and adjusting the semitrailer safety and performance features;
Lifting underride protection bar for compatible operations with all types of asphalt pavers. An asphalt paver brake feature may be installed additionally;
Spare wheel complete with a mounting bracket and a winch, as well as an additional bracket to store a second spare wheel;
Wheel nut caps to secure torque and prevent loosening.
Plastic tool box and washbasin with a separate soap dispenser;
Premium MICHELIN X Multi Z with improved load carrying capacity and superb road gripping and braking capabilities.

Axle system and suspension

The axle unit consists of three dual-tire BPW axles in a reinforced Heavy Duty design with a load capacity of 12,000 kg per axle. The suspension is air-type. The front axle is equipped with a lifting mechanism

Paint and varnish coating

The paint coating technological process, as well as the quality of materials used, comply with relevant ISO requirements for severe climatic conditions. In preparation for the painting procedure, all structural elements are thoroughly shot blasted. The paintwork involves the use of modern European-made paint and varnish materials.

Brake system and electrical equipment

The standard configuration of the semitrailer comes with drum-type brakes, as this type of brakes is best suited to the peculiarities of tipper transportation operational conditions. Disc-type brakes are available as an option.
The braking system is supplied by WABCO and comes complete with Premium EBS modulator. New generation Ermax TM11 lighting equipment with LED lights and "Superseal" dust- and water-proof plug connections that help to ensure safe operation at any work site – whether it is a construction site, quarry or highway. The lighting package is augmented by two additional LED working lights.

At the request of the customer, the semitrailer configuration may include additional options:

Certification

Grunwald semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification regulations of the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Warranty

The semitrailer structure warranty period is 12 months from the date of initial registration, but no more than 24 months from the date of manufacture as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.

Warranty and service obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo), as well as a network of authorized service stations.
