Tipper semi-trailer Gr.T52-AB

The underlying concept of the Gr.T52-AB-4 axle model is the combination of cutting-edge materials and a truly broad functionality. The semitrailer is robust enough for hauling heavy loads and handling extreme road conditions, and its spacious body with a light curb weight provides ample opportunities for transporting large volumes of cargo, including various agro-industrial goods.

Design advantages

The box-type body with a wide base and a working capacity of 52 cubic meters is made of high-quality aluminum and aluminum profile. The semi-trailer body was designed by a partner of Grunwald – STAS company, an accomplished aluminum tipper bodies manufacturer based in Belgium. All body elements are welded together on a robotic production line.

The rear and front body walls are made from enforced sheet aluminium. The body base is 8 mm thick, the side profile is 30 mm thick. The rear wall is designed with multiple opening mechanisms in mind: classic tipper scheme with an upper hitch; and a swing double door gate with lifting top crossbar. The rear wall is equipped with two grain flaps. The upper part of the body is fitted with three removable cross members that hold the walls together for improved rigidity.

Standard configuration

The Gr.T52-AB model is equipped with everything necessary for productive work. The basic package includes:

• Wabco OptiLink™ monitoring system. A smart system that enables the operator to control operating parameters such as the semi-trailer tilt angle and axial loads without leaving the driver cab.

• A spare wheel and a removable spare wheel compartment with a mounting bracket.

• Wheel nut caps to secure torque and prevent loosening.

• Plastic tool box and washbasin with separate dispenser.

• Aluminum ladder.

• Metal hook for awning.

• Premium tires with increased load capacity.

At the request of the customer, the semitrailer configuration may include additional options:

• Drum-type brake mechanisms;

• 3.5" kingpin;

• Custom color scheme;

• Custom vinyl decorations.

Certification

Grunwald semitrailers are certified in accordance with the latest certification regulations of the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) and conform to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Warranty

The semitrailer structure warranty period is 12 months from the date of initial registration, but no more than 24 months from the date of manufacture as recorded in the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin.

Warranty and service obligations shall be fulfilled by a specialized Grunwald service center in Moscow (Sheremetyevo), as well as a network of authorized service stations.
